FOMO Berlin is a weekly newsletter keeping you up to date on the coolest events for tech & culture in Berlin that is tarted in the spring of 2023

For my weekend activities, I enjoy visiting the site Mit Vergnügen to discover cultural events happening on the weekend. I always felt a bit frustrated 😤 that there was nothing similar to this for tech events and builders like us 🧑‍💻

Every time I discovered a cool event, I’d share it with my friends to give us an opportunity to meet in person.

With FOMO Berlin, I simply aim to solve my own problem 😎 and make it just a bit easier to share all cool events with my friends 🤓

👯 The Team

My name is Cephas and I am the founder of Newcon a video SaaS platform for content creators.

Together with Amanda, the communication & marketing manager for Newcon, we each week collect all the best and most exclusive tech & cultural events happening in Berlin.

We work closely together to make it valuable and to grow each week! Now we want to take it to the next level and we want YOUR help! 💪

💼 The Role

The volunteer position is unpaid, but very exciting and full of opportunities!

Here are a few specific things that the role of social media volunteer entails:

• You will plan and create FOMO events for our community in order to grow it
• You will be in the lead of the creative process, ranging from brainstorming to execution
• You contact vendors, plan activities, send invites, make guest lists and much more to make the events an amazing experience for the attendees
• Plan both small intimate events and bigger events
